I’m excited to share to you my favorite healthy smoothies that you can drink in the morning! These smoothies are the best go to drinks that is not just delicious but also very healthy. I have tried to experiment with different fruits and vegetables but these recipes are the power smoothies that blends perfectly with each ingredient. I hope this post will also help you to become more health conscious. If you drink these every morning then you will see a positive effect to your health, achieve glowing skin and a natural detox for your body. These affordable ingredients will surely taste better than any medicine you’ve drank before.

“Spinach and Kale Breakfast Smoothie”
This is the easiest and most powerful smoothie that you can drink everyday. The mix of kale and spinach for me, is the healthiest vegetables that will surely work miracles in your body. I researched a lot about making healthy smoothies and the ingredients for this was the most important for a breakfast drink. It’s also easy to make in the morning. Sometimes I would put the spinach and kale inside the blender and leave it inside the refrigerator so if i’m running out of time in the morning I would just add the coconut water, lemon water and ice. This would help me save a lot of time in the morning before work.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Prepare all the ingredients said above. These ingredients are enough for one person.
- Put the 1/2 cup of kale and 1/2 cup of spinach inside the blender. You can add more vegetables if you want.
- Then put your chosen fruit ( 1/4 apple or 1/4 kiwi ) in the blender. The fruits are optional and if you don’t want to add them that’s okay.
- Then add 1/4 cup of coconut water and 1/4 cup of lemon water.
- Blend it first.
- Then mix the ingredients with your spoon to make sure that the fruits and vegetables are shredded.
- Then add 1/2 cup of ice.
- Blend the smoothie. Then it’s ready to serve.

“Healthy Beets to the Rescue Smoothie”
The truth is I was never a fan of beets before I’ve tried to put it in my smoothies. Beets has a lot of health benefits like vitamin C, antioxidants, potassium, folate, copper and so much more. It’s good for the heart and can improve blood flow. You can research the health benefits online and see that it can boost your immune system especially when blended with spinach. I also like to slice the beets and eat it like singkamas ( a filipino favorite ) and add salt. They taste almost the same.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Prepare all the ingredients said above. These ingredients are enough for one person.
- Put the 1/2 cup of beets and 1/2 cup of spinach inside the blender. You can add more vegetables if you want.
- Then put 1/4 apple in the blender.
- Then add 1/4 cup of coconut water and 1/4 cup of lemon water.
- Blend it first.
- Then mix the ingredients with your spoon to make sure that the fruits and vegetables are shredded.
- You can also add 1/2 cup of ice if you want.
- Blend the smoothie. Then it’s ready to serve.

“Detox Green Smoothie”
This is my favorite detox smoothie to drink. This drink is so yummy and I hope you’ll like it too. I love how the the broccoli, cucumber and spinach balances the taste of apple and kiwi. These green smoothies are not just about taste, they also have a lot of health benefits like the others smoothies. The reason why I started experimenting with smoothies is because I was told by my doctor that I should try to eat more vegetables and incorporate more healthy food in my meals. I don’t really have time to cook vegetables and sometimes I am too lazy to eat them. So I found an alternative that is easier for me. I made smoothies with vegetables. Sometimes I add different kinds of vegetables in my smoothies and just drink them everyday. It really depends on how you want to make your smoothies. These recipes can just be examples until you find your preferred taste for the ingredients of your own smoothie.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Prepare all the ingredients said above. These ingredients are enough for one person.
- Put the 1/4 cup of broccoli and 1/2 cup of spinach inside the blender. You can add more vegetables if you want.
- Then put 1 kiwi, 1/4 apple and 1/4 cucumber in the blender.
- Then add 1/4 cup of coconut water or 1/4 cup of lemon water. Sometimes I just put coconut water or lemon water. It depends on how you want the taste of your smoothie. I would prefer to put coco water because the taste can sometimes be a little sour if you add lemon water.
- Blend it first.
- Then mix the ingredients with your spoon to make sure that the fruits and vegetables are shredded.
- You can also add 1/2 cup of ice if you want.
- Blend the smoothie. Then it’s ready to serve.

“Mango – Kiwi Power Smoothie”
A summer friendly drink for everyone especially Filipinos. I love mangoes so much especially if it’s super sweet. That’s why I found a recipe that is perfect for the summer heat and healthy. This simple recipe is so easy to follow that you can do it anywhere if you have the ingredients. I don’t know if you noticed but I always have spinach in my ingredients for each recipe. Sometimes you can also use kale if you don’t have spinach. I like them both for their health benefits which is the secret ingredient to boost our immune system, have good digestion and get a good source of vitamin k.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Prepare all the ingredients said above. These ingredients are enough for one person.
- Put the 1 cup of spinach inside the blender. You can add more vegetables if you want.
- Then put 1 kiwi and 1/4 cup of mango in the blender.
- Then add 1/4 cup of coconut water and 1/4 cup of lemon water.
- Blend it first.
- Then mix the ingredients with your spoon to make sure that the fruits and vegetables are shredded.
- You can also add 1/2 cup of ice if you want.
- Blend the smoothie. Then it’s ready to serve.

“Strawberry Banana Oatmeal Smoothie”
This recipe is a classic favorite for my taste buds. I just love bananas so much in smoothies. Sometimes I would make this shake without the strawberry and that’s okay. This smoothie is the best after meals and can be your dessert. You can drink this while resting in your bed or while having a movie marathon. You won’t need to go outside and buy your favorite strawberry smoothie, you can make this in your homes. I was so happy the first I made this because it is very hot in manila that is why I love to make my own shakes at home. It’s more convenient and it saves money. There will be times that I would put chia seeds in my shakes or other powders to add more health benefits.

- Put the 1/2 cup of strawberry and 1 banana inside the blender.
- Then put 2 tablespoons of yogurt and 2 tablespoon of oatmeal in the blender.
- Then add 1/2 cup of milk ( or almond milk ).
- Blend it first.
- Then mix the ingredients with your spoon to make sure that the fruits and vegetables are shredded.
- Add 1/2 cup of ice.
- Blend the smoothie. Then it’s ready to serve.
